<br> After working for approximately eight months, Hanford left Rohm and Haas to go to graduate school. He decided to show down a proposal to return to Rohm and Haas in favor of working for DuPont. He once remarked that he was by no means compensated past his common salary for any of his a hundred and twenty patents from any company. Most significantly, the Mark 5 shotgun shell delivered larger pressure than competing forms of ammunition with out increasing a weapon’s recoil strength.<br>
